Upward Sports at Geyer Springs
Promoting the Discovery of Jesus Through Sports
Upward Sports is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K5 through 6th-grade boys and girls that promotes the whole athlete through character development, self-esteem, and the sports-specific skills to play the game. Here at Geyer Springs, our goal is for players to be introduced to Jesus and to be trained in their specific sport. In this program, every child plays! UPWARD FLAG FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING
Upward Flag Football and Cheer is offered during the fall semester of each season beginning in early August with evaluations and ending in mid-October with our Upward Awards Celebration.
Flag Football is for boys/girls in Kindergarten (2023-2024 school year) through the 6th grade. League fee includes reversible jersey, flag belt, wrist coach and an end of season gift. Shorts are NOT included this season. *All players will need black shorts for games.*
Cheerleading is for girls 4 years old (by August 1st) through the 5th grade. League fee includes cheer top, skort, pom poms, megaphone, hair bow, and an end of season gift.

Evaluation Information
Evaluations for boys/girls in Flag Football will take place Tuesday, August 15 or Wednesday, August 16 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Raymar Fields (1701 Raymar Rd) in Bryant. Players must sign up for an evaluation time. All football players will be evaluated. Sign up for an evaluation at the link below. Cheerleaders will NOT be evaluated.

UPWARD SOCCER
Upward Soccer is offered during the spring semester of each season beginning in early March with evaluations and ending in mid-May with our Upward End of Season Celebration.
We offer co-ed leagues for boys and girls 4-years-old (by March 1) through 1st grade. We offer separate leagues for boys and girls 2nd grade through 7th grade. Practices are one night per week with most games taking place on Saturdays. Registration includes a uniform shirt, shorts, and socks. Cleats are not provided but are recommended.
All evaluations, practices, and games will take place at Raymar Fields (1701 Raymar Rd) in Bryant, Arkansas.If you have questions please email sports@gsfbc.org.
